I love all your traditions, Renny, and know that Diane has grown to love them as well. What a great "service" you do for all of us as you present your country's traditions and history so well!

God Yul to you! The return of the sun is very important to me too. Your photos are so beautiful- the sunrise over the water is filled with gorgeous colors.

Now that sunrise was worth getting up early for! Postcard perfect!

Does the burning of the Yule log have any connection to warmth or light/darkness?
Do they make Yule Log cakes?
Is that ice rink real? We couldn't have one here now since it's not been cold enough! Not much snow forecast in the next while either...a green Christmas for sure!
