My grandfather used to fish for rainbow trout, here in Canada, as a sport ( and to bring home to eat.) He was a fly fisherman and made his own fishing flies ( we call it tying flies)

I learned how to make them, many years ago from him, but have since forgotten. One day I’ll take up making them, again.

You and Diane make me so hungry with all your food posts…..

Your cucumber salad is probably very similar to the Finnish one I make….

After a fresh summer lunch with chardonnay by diane here a wonderful seafood /Crémant d’alsace! But I just would taste a good beer from Norway! You should suggere to Carrefour, one of the most important hypermarket, to import Norway beer and so I could “trinquer” with you all in Mariestat! “giggles”
