Budapest possesses a rich and fascinating history as well as a vibrant cultural heritage. Recognizing the unique value of its traditions it has managed to maintain its magic and charm, and is rightly known as the Queen of the Danube. It has also been called the City of Spas, as there are a dozen thermal baths complexes served by over a hundred natural thermal springs:

That’s where my wife and I are going for a long weekend and we are both so excited. We’re prepared, have red a lot about this beautiful city – are packed and now ready to get some sleep and tomorrow morning: Budapest – here we comes!

Btw: I’m not even sure if I’ll take my computer with as there is no internet connection where we are staying. Besides: I want to explore, stay in the presents and focus on the adventures and this 5 days of quality time with Diane. So then I hope you understand if I’m not that active in Blogsphere dear friends and regular readers!

Hey, thanks a lot for the info! I have never had my nails done before nor eyebrows or had a massage, so for a once in a lifetime opportunity, 40.00 seems worth it! Thanks for the tip!

I apologize for not being in touch much with you and Diane. The puppies and a sick Anneliese have kept me very busy!

Awww that’s awesome! Hopefully I can meet you guys in Oslo soon since I am taking a trip there with Odd while we’re in Fredrikstad for 8 days visiting his parents. Anyway, is it okay if you can send me your number again probably through email since I lost your number when I changed phone and number.

    Hi Rene!

How was the trip? I remember when I visited Budapest alone for a business trip. I was sent for a 5 day conference from Seattle and loved it! I did visit those famous spas and it was an experience I will never forget. Did you and your wife just love it?

    Warm Regards,

    Johanne (now living in Oslo)

Once I live in the Netherlands with Astrid, we have already talked about how we will NOT take our laptops with us when we travel…so that we will totally experience the experience! We need to do that more often!
