    Gorgeous my friend,
I so well remember – a short brake in the French Alpes on our wonderful trip from Claudie and Pierre – heading North
(may be it was something in my head – Route Napoleon)
You, running out of the Car to take photos.
    Really a great memory

    hugs

What a lovely shot. That is a place I would love to travel to and visit. Is the statue of significance?

    • RennyBA says:

Good to see someone finally asking about the statue – It is Napoleon Bonaparte; (1769 – 1821) a military and political leader of France whose actions shaped European politics in the early 19th century.
