ooooh, love oktoberfest, went to them as a kid in Canada, in Kitchener Waterloo where there is a signficant German heritage! Of course, I couldn’t drink beer then (though I got the occassional sip), but loved the buxom serving wenches… guess it all really started when I was 10…

Haha, we import lot’s of traditions orginated other places here to Oslo. At least those that can give us an excuse to Party, like St. Patrick, Halloween, Valentine etc.
May be it’s not that strange since Oslo is very cosmopolitan.
